A letter from our President...Don Peed, President and CEO
Thank you for your interest in TechWorkers. The idea for TechWorkers was born out of my experience and frustration dealing with the multitude of IT service vendors I had to work with over the course of many years an IT executive. This frustration was largely the result of the amount of unnecessary time I consistently spent with our service vendors to educate them, watch over them, or worse yet, re-do their work. Let’s face it; dealing with outsourced IT services is something all IT organizations have to do. Today’s complex technologies require a vast array of skill sets just to manage and operate a normal IT environment. Most IT organizations cannot afford to permanently hire to that level. Hence, the need for help through IT service providers… The problem is how can you as an IT executive, manage these IT service providers effectively, efficiently, and affordably without it taking up a majority of your day?
In my opinion, there are two distinct ways to effectively deal with this issue. One, reduce the number of outsourced vendors you deal with and two, insure that the vendors you do use really understand your environment at a level that you would. This is the basis in which we developed our business service offerings at TechWorkers.
How do we do that you ask? Simple. TechWorkers maintains four distinct business units that supply a broad spectrum of services/resources to our customers. These business units include resource management groups that focus within technical (IT,Engineering), financial-G&A staffing, managed outsourced consulting services, and lastly, professional service practices and resource augmentation. By having four distinct businesses within our company, we can supply a broader spectrum of services to our customers. This broadband of services affords our customers the ability to reduce in a variety of ways, the number of vendors they deal with. By reducing the number of vendors, it is our hope that we minimize the vendor management as well.
But minimizing vendor management by itself is not enough. We take it upon ourselves to really understand our customers, their environment and most importantly what they need to be successful. The key to this is in our use of experienced technology and management professionals that assist in the project and account management roles for each and every client. Our rigorous requirements for all our account managers include at least fifteen plus years in a management role within their specific expertise. These professionals have spent several years working as successful managers themselves and fully understand the issues and challenges every manager faces when it comes to finding the right resource solution to a problem.
I created TechWorkers because I felt it was time for organizations and the people who run them to have a partner that truly understands what it takes to be successful in providing flexible resource solutions. Our commitment is to be there to help you, to assist and advise you through your career to insure your success wherever you go. It is our hope that you experience the “difference” that we feel will insure that success. After all, who better to deliver resource services to business professionals, than BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS.
